Description

The Xerta station is located on the old Zafán Valley railway line currently converted into a greenway.
Inside the Station, in the old passenger building is the River Interpretation Center, which through explanatory panels with the Ebro river as the common thread, addresses the origin and function of the Xerta dam and the historical importance it had for the development of rice cultivation in the Ebro Delta, the relationship of the river with the town of Xerta and the different uses of water, as well as a small approach to the Val de Zafán railway line and the Xerta Station.
