Four comarques* route

*a district similar to an English county.
Circular route that takes you to the four Ebro Lands comarques. The first part of the route has some ups and downs, but the final kilometers are flat. The former Tortosa slaughterhouse is the starting and end point of the route and it is about 190 km.
In spring you will enjoy fruit trees blossoms that are always are welcome sight, flooded rice fields, vineyards, olive trees... Start the route crossing the Pont de l'Estat (State bridge) to go out to search for the C-12 towards Xerta. Go past Xerta and l'Assut (the lock). Head for Prat de Comte and before arriving turn right to go towards Pinell de Brai. Take the road that leads you to Miravet and Benissanet after crossing Pinell de Brai.


Get to Mora d'Ebre, cross the bridge over the Ebro River and take the N-420 to Falset. After 2 km, turn right to go to Darmós and  Serra d'Almos where you will be surrounded by fruit trees for many km. Continue until Tivissa where you will take the C-44 to the right until you reach the C-142. At this point you will go towards Rasquera on the river side.
When you get to Rasquera, continue on the road that goes to El Perelló. This section goes up and down until the final part of the road that goes down more.
