\nInspired by the old narrow-gauge train that once connected Tortosa with the towns of the Delta, this new vehicle revives a piece of the city’s heritage and transforms it into a 21st-century tourist attraction. A journey through heritage, river, and city<\/h2>Along the route, the Carrilet Verd winds through the streets of the historic center, passes near key heritage spots and commercial sites, and reaches the City Walls\u2014a journey that offers insight into Tortosa\u2019s relationship with its fortifications, the Ebro River, and the urban landscape.<\/p>
\nThe route allows passengers to enjoy the city\u2019s various versions: monumental Tortosa, the dynamic commercial hub, the areas for strolling, and the riverfront. Tickets must be collected from the Tourist Office located in the old Slaughterhouse (*Escorxador*), next to the train’s departure point. Tickets are issued only for the next scheduled trip and cannot be collected in advance for other times or days. Space is limited, and tickets are allocated until the train reaches full capacity.<\/p>
