Interactive Renaissance
Did you know that the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York houses tapestries from Tortosa?
The Church of Sant Domènec, now home to the Renaissance Interpretation Centre, has been transformed into Interactive Renaissance: a unique audiovisual installation where art, history, and artificial intelligence come together to let you relive Tortosa’s golden age.
Using videomapping and interactive technology, this immersive experience brings our heritage to life. It digitally reinterprets the tapestries, revives the splendour of 16th-century Tortosa through a contemporary visual language, and offers a surprising, educational experience for visitors of all ages.
