Tour of Som by Benifallet

Typical tour that can be done in two hours and that many cyclists in the area usually do. The former Tortosa slaughterhouse is the starting and end point of the route and it is about 50 km.
Leave Tortosa passing through the Pont de l'Estat (State Bridge) and go to Quatre Camins. Once there, take the C-12 road towards Jesús. Continue for about 25 km passing through Jesús, Aldover or Xerta. Once you crossed the river, go back down the other side in the direction of Benifallet. In the first part there are some short ascents that break the rhythm.



We pass through Benifallet and go towards the Coll de Som. The climb is about 4 km and about 150 meters of altitude. Stunning views of the Ebro Valley from above. After the descent, go along the road in the direction of Tortosa. The last stretch before reaching Tortosa – 14 km – is flat.
