Description
The Jueva de Tortosa (Tortosa Jewish lady) is called Blanca, who lived in the city around the end of the 15th Century. She offers theatrical tours around the old Jewish Quarter. The experience gives participants the chance to experience a different and exciting tour around the evocative maze of streets and alleys of the Call Jueu (Jewish Quarter), as Blanca brings the past to life through song, dance and prose. Blanc invites participants to accompany her on an unforgettable journey through time, explaining the everyday life of the Jewish community. The tour culminates with a visit to Blanca’s house, with furniture and decoration inspired by the Jewish houses of the period, to taste some kosher wine and listen to traditional Catalan Jewish songs.
